The APN (Access Point Name) settings are crucial for ensuring that your VAMO eSIM connects properly to the local network and allows the use of mobile data.
Automatic APN Settings
In most cases, VAMO eSIMs will automatically configure the APN settings for you, so manual setup is not required.
Manual APN Settings
For some devices, the APN settings may not auto-configure. In these cases, you’ll need to input the APN information manually.
Input the APN Settings:
Leave the “Username” and “Password” fields blank. Only fill in the “APN” field. – data.esim
How to Set the APN on iOS Devices
- Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
- Select your VAMO eSIM under Cellular Plans (or Mobile Data Plans).
- Enter the provided APN information – data.esim while leaving all other fields blank.
How to Set the APN on Samsung Devices
- Go to Settings.
- Select Connections.
- Choose Mobile Networks Settings.
- Select Access Point Names.
- Tap the “Add” button.
- Enter the APN information from the table above.
How to Set the APN on Google Pixel Devices
- Open Settings.
- Go to Network & Internet.
- Select Internet.
- Tap the settings icon next to your VAMO eSIM.
- Choose Access Point Names.
- Tap the “+” button and enter the correct APN information.
